High Pressure Stainless Steel Nozzles

The expertise of engineering and design represented in the detail of nozzle design for high pressure humidification systems directly impacts customer satisfaction which is why we have dedicated a whole web page for our nozzle.  We used to think that if the nozzle was simply all stainless steel, that alone signified quality.  But there is so much more to consider and we will focus on just two key construction details:

  1. A metal glass seal within the stainless steel construction is equipped with a ruby orifice at the center of the nozzle’s core.  This construction controls moisture particle sizes shown to be instantly nearly uniform throughout the atomizing plume – micron sized particles so fine it is nearly evaporated.  The inner ruby surface is laser bored so cleanly that dissolved solids which normally stick to surfaces do not adhere thereby maintaining very fine atomization – think of the teflon surface as an example.
  2. The inner spring assembly is designed for 350 psi “cracking” – the mechanical opening and closing point which determines the initial micro burst atomization of water particle sizes.  Springs that crack in the range of 150 psi reveal larger micron particle sizes which take longer to evaporate.  The cracking point is the key to achieving quicker and consistent evaporation – Ultra Fine – Micron Size – Water Atomization for quick and complete evaporation above your workspace.

Stainless Steel High Pressure Nozzle Head

All stainless steel nozzle with a “Ruby Orifice” insert (shown at top of nozzle head) for corrosion resistant long term performance.  Seals are Viton O-rings & seat allows all parts to be finger tightened only (optional for 1/4 turn more maximum) with uniform 20% compression for high wear resistance – preventing leaking.  The Ruby Orifice insert” has an inner laser bored surface so smooth that dissolved solids do not stick or build up.

High Pressure Nozzle Spring Assembly

The 350 PSI Spring Assembly controls the pressure “cracking” point which activates the nozzle to open and shut – the key to precision atomization at both start up and shut off.  350 psi is the critical pressure point to allow for a very clean initial burst of moisture with the finest micron sized particles for complete and quick evaporation.  Additionally, the higher pressure point of 350 psi also provides a clean closing of the nozzle, hencs the term “anti-drip”.

High Pressure Nozzle Anti Drip Body

The Anti-Drip Body Housing composes the body of the nozzle and functions to interface between the water supply source and the nozzle cap.  When all three parts of the nozzle are attached together, the nozzle is then threaded into the supply source as the Viton O-ring is the final seal which prevents moisture leaks even at very high pressure. All attachments and adjustments are finger tight only.

High Pressure Stainless Steel Nozzle with 5 Micron Filter

Nozzle filters (Part #IHC-NF5) are now standard with all nozzles as of 2018 and are ordered in quantities of 100 each.  Nozzles prior to 2018 can be upgraded to now include this filter.  Filters insert in the threaded end of the nozzle.
